Back (block pillow)
If you like sliding pillows, you will love the “Back”. The inserts are freely movable in a wooden frame. Many different sized inserts give you complete freedom in lace making. You can make large but also small pieces on the Back. If you already own one of our sliding cushions, tell us the height and we will make a suitable "Back" for you.
By the way: The term "Back" comes from the Flemish.
A note about the inserts: They always consist of several layers glued together. If they absorb some moisture, e.g. by steaming the lace on the pillow, adhesive residue can remain on the needles. Simply clean the needles with water. You should absolutely avoid stinging through the fabric tape because there may be adhesive residue on the needle that cannot be easily removed.
